Field Effects

Introduction

Field effects change the battle environment and affect all Pokémon (or grounded ones, for terrain). They last a set number of turns—typically 5, or 8 with extension items. Weather extension items: (sun), (rain), (sandstorm), (snow). Terrain extension: . Weather affects everyone; terrain only affects Pokémon that are grounded (not Flying-type or holding Air Balloon, etc.).
